Oil catch system service

From time to time there is a need in emptying the oil catch system tank, when the condensate level is reaches max level.

The service itself is pretty easy. All that is needed, is to empty the tank by unscrewing the drain bolt at it's bottom

This smells not good. :-)

The tank returned into it's place

Odometer: 61,000 km.

HPFP cam follower replacement

Usually I replace the 2.0 TFSI engine HPFP(High Pressure Fuel Pump) cam follower each 20 thousand kilometers.
It's a small but important part, that needed to be replaced at the time. If it breакs, this will lead to the serious engine damage and expensive repair costs. See this as a warning.

Camshaft is OK

This work should be performed by a qualified mechanic using an appropriate tools

Odometer: 59,500 km.

As in previous oil change, I've used the full synthetic Wolf Vitaltech 5W-40 (VW 502 00) engine oil.
